About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior environmental professional to join our planning and environmental approvals team in NSW.

The successful candidate will have experience in environmental planning, impact assessment, and regulatory approvals, with a strong understanding of NSW and Commonwealth environmental planning legislation.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, values-driven, and has exceptional organisational skills with strong motivation to work self-directed.

In this role, you will work with a team of experienced professionals and consultants to deliver a range of environmental consulting projects.

You will help shape NSW's future by working with stakeholders, clients, and our in-house design teams to drive better, sustainable project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include developing consulting, project management, and technical skills through delivering environmental consulting projects, scoping and managing environmental studies and surveys, and leading the preparation of high-quality environmental approvals documentation and environmental management plans.

Requirements
  • Experience in Environmental Planning, Impact Assessment, and Regulatory Approvals
  • Strong Understanding of NSW and Commonwealth Environmental Planning Legislation
  • Exceptional Organisational Skills and Strong Motivation to Work Self-Directed
  • Degree/Postgraduate Qualification in Environmental Science or Related Discipline
