Import Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Import Operations Specialist to handle all aspects of import FCL/LCL activities.

This role involves liaising with carriers, service providers, and overseas partners to ensure seamless operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing purchase orders and coordinating customer bookings
  • Preparing and processing documentation and customs reports
  • Ensuring quotations are up-to-date and accurate
  • Providing training to clients on systems and portals
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of experience as an Import Freight Forwarder with CargoWise
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Ability to perform end-to-end import operations services
  • High level of accuracy and ability to prioritize workload under pressure
  • Relationship-building skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
