About This Role

We're looking for a volunteer to help us bring joy and community to our residents through serving coffee and light refreshments.

This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others while developing your hospitality skills.

As a volunteer, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with staff and other volunteers to ensure our café runs smoothly and our residents have a great experience.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a café or hospitality setting, a genuine passion for supporting the elderly, and excellent people skills.

Responsibilities
  • Serving with a Smile: Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and light refreshments to residents, staff, and visitors, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Creating Connections: Build relationships with residents, offering a friendly chat while you serve their favorite drinks and snacks.
  • Keeping the Café Cozy: Help maintain the café's cleanliness and organisation, making sure everything is ready for a relaxing experience.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a café or hospitality setting is essential.
  • Heart: A genuine passion for supporting the elderly and making their day a little brighter.
  • People Skills: Friendly, patient, and a great listener—our residents love a chat.
