Aged Care Cafe Assistant Volunteer

This is a unique chance to bring your café skills to an aged care community. As a volunteer cafe assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, serving up smiles and making a real difference in the lives of residents.
- Serving with a Smile: Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and light refreshments to our residents, staff, and visitors, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
- Creating Connections: Build relationships with our residents, offering a friendly chat while you serve their favorite drinks and snacks.
- Keeping the Café Cozy: Help maintain the café's cleanliness and organisation, making sure everything is ready for a relaxing experience.
- Team Player: Work closely with staff and other volunteers to ensure the café runs smoothly and residents have a great experience.
We are looking for friendly, skilled volunteers who have previous experience working in a café or hospitality setting. If you have a genuine passion for supporting the elderly and making their day a little brighter, we would love to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
