What You'll Be Doing- Serving with a Smile: Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and light refreshments to residents, staff, and visitors, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
- Creating Connections: Build relationships with residents, offering a friendly chat while you serve their favorite drinks and snacks.
- Keeping the Café Cozy: Help maintain the café's cleanliness and organisation, making sure everything is ready for a relaxing experience.
- Team Player: Work closely with staff and other volunteers to ensure the café runs smoothly and residents have a great experience.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a café or hospitality setting is essential (you know your way around an espresso machine).
- Heart: A genuine passion for supporting the elderly and making their day a little brighter.
- People Skills: Friendly, patient, and a great listener—our residents love a chat
- Organisation: You can keep things running smoothly, ensuring the café is always stocked and clean.
- Feel Good Vibes: You'll be making a real difference in the lives of our residents while serving up their favorite beverages
- Flexible Hours: We offer flexible 4 hour shifts that fit your schedule.
