This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and student-focused Casual Teachers to join our team.

• Responsibilities:
• Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners.
• Ensure teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages, and related requirements.
• Create and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment that meets diverse learner cohorts' needs.
• Work with learners to improve their employability and life skills.
• Provide learners first-hand expert knowledge and experience to enhance their learning and understanding of the subject being taught.
• Implement the Educational Excellence Framework across all teaching and learning practices.
• Ensure consistency with Child Safe Standards and respond in accordance with Institute policies and agreed practices.
• Maintain a respectful and safe environment free from violence and aggression, bullying, sexual harassment, and discrimination.
• Support the Social Justice Charter and its commitment and principles for achieving social justice for all people at the Institute.

You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select, and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.

• A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs 2015.
• Vocational qualifications at AQF level 5 based on the level of teaching required.
• Vocational currency as demonstrated through a range of work and related experience.
• Registration with professional bodies as required.
• A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver.
• A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge.
