Job Description

This role involves working in a dynamic team to deliver high-quality care and education to children. You will be responsible for planning and implementing activities that promote learning, socialization, and emotional development.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and support to children.

The job will involve working with children aged 5-12 years old, in a Before School Care (BSC) and After School Care (ASC) setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver High-Quality Care and Education: Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  • Foster Positive Relationships: Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Ensure Child Safety and Well-being: Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Certificate III or Diploma in an ACECQA-approved course (or working towards it)
  • Experience: Previous experience working in BSC or ASC or education is preferred but not essential
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
