Financial Expert for Revenue Recognition and Data Analysis

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Finance team at Marsh Pacific. This role will be based in Sydney, where you will have the opportunity to work with a global leader in risk, strategy and people.

This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. As a Financial Expert, you will be responsible for accurate and timely revenue recognition, reporting and data analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing revenue accruals and reconciliations, collaborating closely with local controllers on revenue recognition issues.
  • Performing revenue analysis, including client level analytics.
  • Supporting quarterly forecasting and annual budget planning processes.
  • Developing strong working relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Supporting the business with development of ad hoc reports and analysis.
  • Assisting the wider finance team with internal reporting requirements and financial controls.

You will be expected to have a degree in Commerce or Accounting or equivalent, CPA/CA qualification and management accounting experience. Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data are also essential.

The estimated salary for this position is AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Australian citizenship or residency is not required but sponsorship may be available for suitable candidates.
