The Prospective Student Officer plays a pivotal role in representing RMIT University and fostering a positive experience for prospective students. This position is a key point of contact for individuals seeking to study at RMIT, and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing various contact channels, including phone, email, live chat, and face-to-face interactions.
The primary focus of this role is on domestic students, although there may be opportunities to assist with international student inquiries based on demand. The successful candidate will be expected to meet and exceed competitive student recruitment sales targets while maintaining accurate records in a CRM database.
Standard working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with occasional weekend and evening shifts required. To be successful in this position, you will possess:
- Proven experience in a sales or recruitment environment, with a track record of meeting targets and delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience with CRM systems and the ability to manage multiple systems simultaneously.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet key performance indicators.
- Foundational computer literacy skills and the ability to interpret complex information.
Please note that appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
