Learning and Development Coordinator Role

Deliver effective learning initiatives to enhance employee knowledge, skills, and performance within the residential aged care sector.

  • Coordinate and deliver training programs to newly hired employees
  • Develop and implement education plans to meet role expectations and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Conduct a needs analysis and develop a learning plan to address identified gaps
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve organizational goals

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering high-quality training sessions
  • Conducting a needs analysis and developing learning plans
  • Collaborating with staff members to ensure effective implementation of training programs

Requirements:

  • Completion of Adult Training Education - Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or similar qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering educational programs
  • A strong understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • A current driver's license and willingness to travel
  • The ability to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
