Machine Operator Wanted

We are seeking a skilled machine operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with manual lathes and welding equipment.


About the Role:
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for building and reconditioning driveshafts, machining driveline components, and assembling, welding, and balancing driveshafts.
  • They will also perform general workshop duties as required.

Requirements:
  • A well-developed fitting and machining skillset in a workshop environment is essential.
  • Sound mechanical aptitude and knowledge are also required.
  • Experience operating manual lathes and welding equipment is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility with job tasks and the ability to participate in ongoing training are also expected.
  • A proven safety and quality focus is necessary.
  • A willingness to work as part of a team is also required.

A Certificate 2 in Engineering would be an advantage, but basic machining skills are sufficient. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar environment and be committed to delivering high-quality results.
