Opportunity

We have an opportunity within our Maintenance team for a Full-time Refrigeration Mechanic who is also open to working rotating shifts. Your responsibilities will include maintaining, repairing, and upgrading refrigeration systems to comply with new regulations and standards. Additionally, you will be conducting routine inspections and tests on existing equipment to diagnose problems and make necessary repairs.

  • Strong skills for effective communicate with colleagues and supervisors
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong focus on planned preventative maintenance systems
  • Proficiency in performing preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems
  • Computer literacy

What experience are we looking for?
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic
  • Current QLD Refrigeration Licence
  • Certificate IV in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Systems
  • Previous experience in environment operating ammonia gas
  • Experience in manufacturing/continuous operational environment
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing is highly desirable
