Job Description:

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a high-impact transformation project in the finance sector.

As a key member of the project team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the end-to-end financial governance of the project by ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls.

The scope of this role includes finalising the posting book, ensuring accurate interfaces between business systems, accounting, and treasury systems, and ensuring effective configuration and operation of financial systems.

You will also be responsible for ensuring accurate data migration and financial reporting requirements are implemented.

Furthermore, as the finance SME, you will provide strategic advice to the project team and stakeholders while driving transparency and accountability across all financial activities as functional specialist for the project representing finance and treasury.

The role will also involve managing all budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and variance tracking on the project cost.

Ultimately, your contributions will help shape the core foundations of our new Contract Management System (CMS), replacing aging legacy systems to create a smarter, more secure future.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong business insight with a strategic mindset
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Deep understanding of financial systems, compliance, and controls
  • Risk-oriented thinking
  • Deep experience built over 10+ years of experience across large-scale system projects and financial accounting
  • CPA/Masters or postgraduate degree is essential
