Teacher Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our team as a teacher. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to the growth and development of our school community.

As a teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of our students. You will also collaborate with colleagues to implement feedback and improve teaching practices, support students with diverse learning needs, and assess and report student progress.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to build positive relationships with students, and maintain professional boundaries. They will also be committed to ongoing professional development and training to ensure they stay up-to-date with best practices in education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to individual students' needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement feedback and improve teaching practices
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, including disabilities and mental health conditions
  • Assess and report student progress, providing timely and specific feedback
  • Build positive relationships with students while maintaining professional boundaries
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • National Police Check (issued within 3 months prior to employment)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Tasmanian Teacher Registration
  • Qualifications in education or relevant field
