As a senior academic leader, the Dean of Education will be responsible for shaping the future of education at our institution. This critical role will oversee the development and implementation of educational policies, programs, and initiatives that foster innovation, excellence, and equity in learning and teaching.The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership, academic expertise, and strategic vision. They will be able to inspire and motivate colleagues, drive collaborative efforts, and build partnerships with stakeholders to advance the institution's mission and goals.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement educational strategies that align with the institution's vision and priorities
  • Lead the development of educational policies and programs that promote excellence and equity in learning and teaching
  • Collaborate with faculty members, staff, and external partners to enhance the quality and relevance of educational offerings
  • Provide guidance and support to students, faculty, and staff on educational matters
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and entrepreneurship in education
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in a relevant field, preferably with a focus on education or a related discipline
  • Significant experience in academic leadership, preferably as a dean or associate dean
  • Proven track record of achievement in educational policy development, program evaluation, and strategic planning
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and external partners
