Job Title: Senior Academic Leader

We are seeking a highly respected academic to join our team as Senior Academic Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about higher degree research and wants to make a significant impact on the academic landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership on Higher Degree Research (HDR) and support senior leaders across faculties.
  • Develop and deliver training and development programs for HDR candidates and supervisors.
  • Contribute to national and international representation and collaborate with industry partners and other universities.
  • Shape HDR policy and governance and deputise for senior leaders as required.
  • Support university-wide platforms and contribute to academic leadership at a G08 university.
Requirements:
  • A respected academic with a significant record of research, publication, and experience in the higher degree research landscape.
  • Demonstrated commitment to UNSW Sydney's strategic objectives and ability to contribute to the HDR environment.
