Cloud Infrastructure and Networking Executive

This role encompasses the oversight of QTC's outsourced cloud IT services, encompassing infrastructure, database layers, virtual servers, appliances, virtual desktop services, cloud storage, backup services, and local and wide area networking.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation in current IT infrastructure and networking trends, along with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary technology project management methodologies. Additionally, they should be equipped to manage outsourced IT service providers in a complex multi-vendor environment.

Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring cloud services are covered by appropriate support agreements and regularly maintained with security patches and updates
- Working collaboratively with technology design and delivery functions to develop and implement an IT infrastructure roadmap, adhering to business change governance processes
- Contributing to the governance and supplier management of QTC's primary Managed IT Services provider, including active participation in the Account Governance Framework and escalation of under-performance instances
- Prioritizing and managing the efforts of outsourced infrastructure support teams to align with technology and business drivers

Key qualifications for this position include a University Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience. Desirable certifications include Microsoft Azure, ITIL Foundation, and Project delivery certification. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, with delivery of infrastructure and networking services in organizations of similar size and complexity through the management of outsourced service providers.
