Job Title: Cloud Platforms Director

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled leader to oversee our specialist team responsible for cloud platforms. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for building productive relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, Microsoft technologies, and agile methodologies. You will lead a specialist multidisciplinary team in the delivery of cloud services to the department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a specialist team with limited supervision and build productive relationships with stakeholders across the department.
  • Be knowledgeable in cloud platforms, Microsoft technologies, and agile methodologies.
  • Manage cloud development activities and guide development conducted by federated IT teams.
  • Lead a specialist multidisciplinary team in the delivery of cloud services to the department.
  • Work with other managers to centrally manage an evolving IT environment.

Technical Skills and Abilities:

  • Develop strategies to address demand for services and balance internal capacity.
  • Coordinate reporting of usage across cloud related services.
  • Set operational standards and procedures for effective performance and quality.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation and technical leadership skills in Microsoft cloud and data technologies.
  • Monitor trends in work demands and manage workload effectively.
