About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Identity Engineer to join our team at NBN Co. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.

Your expertise will be crucial in resolving IAM/PAM-related issues promptly, minimising downtime and ensuring optimal performance. You will have the opportunity to mentor and support your colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver IAM/PAM solutions to ensure the security and integrity of our systems
  • Develop and enforce IAM/PAM patterns and controls to ensure seamless integration across the enterprise
  • Manage the provisioning, de-provisioning, and maintenance of user accounts, roles, entitlements, and privileged access
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM/PAM solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with current industry trends and technologies in IAM/PAM
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of IAM/PAM concepts and technologies, including authentication, authorization, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), identity federation, and privileged access management
  • Familiarity with IAM/PAM tools and platforms such as Okta, SailPoint, or CyberArk
  • Solid understanding of security protocols and standards like SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Strong communications skills to convey intricate concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
