Key Engineering Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineering leader to drive the success of our Acquisitions Engineering Team. As the lead, you will be accountable for delivering high-quality engineering contributions to Ground Support Equipment (GSE) acquisitions under Survey and Quote engagements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in systems, mechanical, or related engineering disciplines and experience guiding engineering teams through complex project lifecycles. They will possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to build constructive relationships with stakeholders and present technical information with clarity and influence.

About You

You should hold an accredited bachelor's degree in engineering and have extensive experience in relatable technical/engineering roles. You must either hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the performance and outcomes of the Acquisitions Engineering Team
  • Provide technical leadership and operational management
  • Author, review, and approve technical documentation
  • Manage day-to-day resourcing and support knowledge capture
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across suppliers and defence organisations
