Job Title: Contracts Administrator

CPB Contractors is a leading infrastructure construction company in Australia, part of the CIMIC Group. We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to support our Warringah Freeway Upgrade project in Sydney, NSW.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure payment schedules are processed in accordance with the Security of Payment Act
  • Measuring and approving subcontract progress payments
  • Undertake monthly financial reports relating to cost and budget
  • Assist with construction claims and dispute resolution matters
  • Monitor any change during the construction phase, assessing effects on cost, measuring values and negotiating any variations
  • Source and execute subcontracts for the delivery of the project with a view to the project's long-term delivery target
  • Prepare site statements for review and discussion by the commercial manager
  • Be able to understand subcontract programmes and monitor progress and reporting the impact of any discrepancies
  • Ensure site records are retained on a daily basis
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a contracting construction environment that engages in various sub-contractors
  • Experience with a large construction projects as well as local project exposure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Excellent attention to detail
