Job Title: Manager, Financial Reporting

This is a high-level managerial role with one of the leading companies in Australia.

About the Role:
  • Support the Australian Financial Reporting team as a Manager.
  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and tax reporting to various clients.
  • Act as an escalation point for client queries.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage financial reporting for Client Accounting groups.
  2. Conduct performance management and career development processes.
  3. Develop and maintain subject expertise.
  4. Provide advice on business trends and implications.
  5. Interact with business areas to determine automation needs.
  6. Provide hands-on training to staff.
  7. Maintain risk management and compliance programs.
About You:
  • Leadership and organizational skills are required.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary.
  • In-depth functional/industry knowledge is required.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Extensive experience working in accounting/tax teams is required.
Requirements:
  • Accounting/Commerce/Finance degree qualification is ideal.
  • CA or CPA certification is preferred.
  • Understanding of unit pricing and unit registry concepts is necessary.
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
