About the Role

The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet is seeking highly motivated and adaptable individuals to join the Net Zero Economy Agency as part of our transformative journey.

We are looking for dynamic people with experience in investment facilitation, policy, First Nations and community engagement, and workplace relations. A strong interest in Australia's transition to net zero and the challenges facing regions and their communities, industry, and government is desirable.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the Agency and future Authority, working on exciting projects that align with your skills and interests.

About Us

The Net Zero Economy Agency (NZEA) is an Executive Agency within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, established on 1 July 2023. We are focused on promoting orderly and positive economic transformation as the world decarbonises, ensuring Australia, its regions, and workers realise and share the benefits of the net zero economy.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Australian citizens to be employed in the APS unless exceptional circumstances apply. Successful applicants will undergo pre-employment screening checks and be subject to a six-month probation period.
