Shooting Stars is a school-based engagement initiative that empowers Aboriginal girls and young women through education.

Role Description

The Enrichment Coordinator is a key supporting role within the Shooting Stars team responsible for coordinating enrichment programs. This position works closely with operational staff, stakeholders, and other team members to achieve objectives and empower Aboriginal girls across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data for reporting purposes
  • Provide project management and coordination support for program delivery
  • Design and deliver interactive enrichment activities, toolboxes, resources, and training for site-based staff and participants
  • Coach and mentor staff to develop facilitation skills, confidence, and culturally safe practices
  • Develop and maintain culturally safe, trauma-informed, and evidence-informed program content
  • Stay up-to-date with facilitation methods, engagement strategies, youth development approaches, and program evaluation practices
  • Collaborate with Shooting Stars staff, school staff, community stakeholders, and service providers
  • Build relationships with Shooting Stars participants
Essential Qualifications

This role requires strong time management skills, excellent computer literacy, and the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working in rural and remote communities, a comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed practice, and demonstrated initiative and flexibility.
