Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project 2IC / Site Supervisor to support our project team and lead day-to-day operations across various mining projects.

This dual role requires someone who can balance strategic project leadership with hands-on site supervision, ensuring safe and efficient raw ore material movement while managing a tight-knit crew onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Scheduling – Develop and manage detailed project plans for ore movement and site works
  • Resource & Crew Management – Allocate machinery, equipment, and manpower effectively across daily operations
  • Operational Oversight – Supervise activities including water cart dust suppression, road maintenance, loader / excavator operations, and ancillary services
  • Safety Leadership – Enforce strict OH&S / WHS protocols, ensuring compliance with Australian mining standards
  • Budget & Reporting – Assist with cost control and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving – Address logistical, mechanical, and operational issues quickly to maintain workflow
About You

5+ years' experience (minimum) across mine site operations and/or raw ore material movement

2–3 years' experience as a supervisor within civil works or mining operations

Strong leadership skills with experience supervising multi-skilled teams and contractors

Ability to step up as a 2IC, covering the Project Manager on alternate shift

Practical knowledge of safety compliance and environmental standards within Australian mining

Strong computer skills, with sound understanding of Microsoft Office

Excellent communication and coordination skills across crews, contractors, and upper management

Qualifications in Mining / Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field

Current S26 Certificate, or working towards S26 Certificate
