Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Programs Officer to spearhead impactful offender programs in regional locations. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing rehabilitation strategies that foster positive change and successful reintegration.

About the Role

As a Senior Programs Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating group programs and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful reintegration of offenders into society. Your expertise will be leveraged to develop and implement effective rehabilitation strategies that address the complex needs of offenders.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement rehabilitation programs in custody and within the community
  • Facilitate group programs to promote positive behavior change
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful offender reintegration
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements

Salary and Benefits

This permanent part-time position attracts a salary of $107,389 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation. Additional benefits include flexible working arrangements, learning and development opportunities, housing assistance subsidies, and career pathway opportunities.
