Job Title: Senior Electoral Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Electoral Officer to join our team. As a Senior Electoral Officer, you will be responsible for managing the electoral process, ensuring the smooth operation of polling stations, and providing excellent customer service to voters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the electoral process, including voter registration, polling station setup, and election day operations
  • Supervise polling station staff, including presiding officers, assistant presiding officers, and polling station assistants
  • Ensure the accurate and efficient counting of votes
  • Provide excellent customer service to voters, responding to their queries and concerns

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electoral administration or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
