**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Market Risk Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience working within the energy markets sector with a specific focus on risk management. Previous finance background is highly advantageous.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee and manage trading risks, propose process improvements, and implement control systems;
  • Manage the portfolio of market exposure, such as speculative trading, assets, retail, environmental products;
  • Resolve any issues that may arise and support a Risk Analyst to ensure performance metrics are met;
  • Assist in setting up a retail business, including systems, reporting, policies, and controls, and the implementation of a compliance and risk reporting framework.

**Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in risk management within the energy markets sector;
  • Previous finance background is highly beneficial;
  • Able to build processes from scratch and be a self-starter.

**What We Offer:

An estimated salary range for this role is AUD 150,000 - 200,000 per year, depending on experience.
