Aviation Protection Officers are key members of our airport security team, responsible for ensuring passenger safety and security. This part-time role requires a strong focus on detail and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen passengers, staff, and baggage thoroughly, adhering to aviation security regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting passengers professionally.
  • Monitor security checkpoints and ensure proper procedures are followed at all times.
  • Perform pat-downs, generate incident reports, and control access to sensitive areas.
  • Operate security technology, including metal detectors and X-ray machines.
Requirements
  • A valid NSW Security License.
  • An Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) clearance or ability to obtain.
  • A Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) & Certificate II in Security Operations.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • A current Driver's license.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, with excellent customer service abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings, national police checks, and medical assessments.
