Aviation Protection Role:

The Aviation Protection Officer plays a vital front-line role in ensuring passenger safety and security at airports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough screening of passengers, staff, and baggage to ensure aviation security compliance.
  • Provide professional customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting passengers.
  • Monitor security checkpoints, oversee traffic flow, and ensure proper procedures are followed.
  • Perform frisk and bag searches, generate incident reports, patrol the premises, and control access to sensitive areas.
  • Operate security technology, including metal detectors and X-ray machines.

This role requires a NSW Security License, Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) clearance or ability to obtain, Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP), Certificate II in Security Operations, valid First Aid and CPR certifications, current Driver licence, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
