Data Insights Specialist

Job description:

  • Provide day-to-day support for internal and external users of Victoria's real-time prescription monitoring system SafeScript.
  • Investigate data discrepancies.
  • Assist with testing of SafeScript enhancements.
  • Maintain user access to SafeScript in line with Department of Health and Medicines and Poisons Regulation Branch policy and procedures.
  • Provide reports on SafeScript using Power BI.
  • Manage Branch website changes.
  • Assist with other data and reporting related requests from the Director and senior team leaders.

Requirements:

  • An experienced data analyst with sound technical skills.
  • An enthusiastic team player committed to providing high quality service delivery within the Branch and to our external IT service providers and health practitioner clients.
  • Organised with good attention to detail and capacity to identify and analyse problems and find solutions.
