Data Insights Specialist

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our high-performing team. As a key member, you will provide analytics and reporting capability across various business domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide data analytics expertise for projects spanning Sales, Finance, Marketing, and more.
  • Extract requirements, design, and produce Power BI reports, visualizations, and recommendations to answer complex business problems.
  • Analyze and define new process improvement opportunities to support continuous improvement and business outcomes.
  • Support root cause analysis and pursue improvements for data-related issues.
  • Accelerate the data and analytics culture across the organization.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with SQL, Databricks, R, and/or Python, and Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proficient in reporting/data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, DAX, and RLS).
  • Experience in building basic WebApps in Azure with Dash/Plotly is a plus.
  • The ability to describe business use cases/outcomes, data sources, and management concepts, and analytical approaches/options.
  • Project, program, and agile management skills.
  • Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills - able to work across business lines at a senior level to influence and effect change to achieve common goals.
  • The ability to translate business requirements into technical design rules and solutions.
