Livestock Industry Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and skilled procurement specialist to join our team in the livestock industry. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in procurement and supply chain operations.
About You:To be successful in this role, you will require strong skills in project planning, coordination and completion of tasks, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience preparing and delivering clear presentations, confidence in analysing and interpreting data, and high emotional intelligence with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You will have a keen interest in the livestock industry and be looking for opportunities to grow your career.
- You will support livestock purchasing execution to meet supply, specification and price targets, developing livestock programs that align with sales demand and customer expectations.
- You will coordinate livestock logistics to ensure production schedules and targets are achieved.
- Liaise with Livestock Coordinators to align procurement and scheduling.
- Monitor, review and report on livestock pricing trends.
- Support feedlot costing models to ensure cost-effectiveness and transparency.
- Maintain accurate records within the system.
- Facilitate professional information flow between Procurement and stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings related to procurement and broader industry discussions.
