Lead Design Engineer

As a seasoned engineering professional, we seek an experienced Principal Design Consultant to join our team. This senior role requires expertise in high-value and high-risk project delivery, with a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have approximately 20 years of experience in renewables, electrical infrastructure, and utilities, with a background in concept design, tenders, and bid support.
- Key responsibilities include executing our growth strategy by de-risking strategic projects during the tender phase, mentoring Senior and Junior Design Managers, providing a centre of excellence for engineering solutions, and developing efficiency opportunities for high-performance solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will require a degree in Engineering, Chartered Member of Institute of Engineers, Australia, and specialised cross-discipline technical expertise within substation, transmission, BESS or Wind engineering.
- You should also possess skills in schedule, cost, and risk management, EPC or contracting background, and a proven ability to deliver innovative value-adding engineering solutions.
