Job Description

This role will play a vital part in improving our production quality, safety, and reducing downtime by implementing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and Site Managers around the region to achieve these objectives.

The successful candidate will be based in Sydney but will need to travel to support other locations when projects demand. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ensuring compliance with all EH&S systems and procedures.
  • Ensuring machinery conforms to machine safety standards.
  • R&D to improve the efficiency of new and existing machines.
  • Promoting customer service excellence at all times.
  • Performing risk assessments and SOP's on new and existing machinery.
  • Working with operational teams to support production safety, quality, and output.
  • Liaising with suppliers and external maintenance teams to ensure spare parts availability.
  • Applying Lean principles to improve machinery design.
  • Gathering and analysing accurate information for effective decision-making.

Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
