Salary

We offer a highly competitive base salary of $120,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in driving manufacturing excellence.

Job Description

This exciting opportunity is based in Sydney and involves working closely with the Project Manager and Site Managers to implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with EH&S systems and procedures
  • Conducting machinery safety assessments and promoting safe practices
  • Developing and implementing efficient machine designs and workflows
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Liaising with suppliers and maintenance teams to ensure timely delivery of spare parts

You will also have opportunities to participate in capital projects, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the development of new processes and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business administration)
