**Job Details**:

This is a part-time role that offers flexible arrangements and the opportunity to work at Mount Barker High School. The position involves supervising staff, undertaking grounds and agriculture work, facilities maintenance and minor construction tasks related to water systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Supervise staff members to ensure efficient performance of duties
  • Undertake grounds and agriculture work to maintain the school's outdoor spaces
  • Perform facilities maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and functional environment
  • Assist with minor construction projects related to water systems

**Working Hours:**

The successful candidate will work 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility possible due to the part-time nature of the role. The starting date for this position is 19th May 2025.

**Classification and Remuneration:**

This is a GSE Level 5 position, attracting a salary ranging from $1,155.00 to $1,166.60 per week on a full-time equivalent basis. Leave conditions apply.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Grounds and agriculture experience or qualifications
  • Facilities maintenance skills and knowledge
  • Ability to supervise staff effectively
  • Basic construction and water systems skills
