Senior Speech Pathologist Job Description

This role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based assessment and therapy services to children with developmental delays or disabilities.

The successful candidate will deliver tailored therapy programs, including the Early Start Denver Model, and work closely with families to support each child's growth and development.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct therapy services to children with developmental delays and/or disabilities
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans in consultation with parents and other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborating with teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes for clients

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in speech pathology and current membership with a relevant professional association
  • Experience working with children and/or disability, with confidence in your role with children and their families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to support diverse cultural environments
