Every program we deliver is tailored to each child and their family, working towards their unique goals.This is amaternity leave contract, with a minimum of3 days per week.Full availabilityacross our program hours is required.
You'll be delivering our Early Intervention Programs under the supervision of experienced therapists.
These programs are developed in collaboration with families and a multidisciplinary team.The Role Location: Southport (easily accessible by train and bus) Hours: Tuesday–Friday 9:30am–4:30pm, Saturday 10am–2pm Contract: Maternity leave cover (minimum 3 days per week, full availability required) Pay: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience, with opportunities for growthAs part of our team, you will:Support communication development using PECS and other tools for non-speaking childrenBuild cognitive skills through games, art, craft, and computer-based educational programsPromote physical wellbeing with activities for strength, balance, and sensory integrationEncourage independence through daily living skills (cooking, dressing, personal care) using Active Support principlesFoster creativity, interests, and community participationAbout YouWe are looking for team members who:Have experience working with children of different abilitiesAre patient, empathetic, and committed to encouraging independenceBring initiative, creativity, and problem-solving skills to support learningHave qualifications or experience in the disability/community sector, particularly with autism and developmental delaysEssential requirements:Current Blue CardFirst Aid & CPRFull working rights
