The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the food safety and quality status of our site through inspection and audit, monitoring and reporting on plant compliance with relevant regulations, and implementing, maintaining, and improving the effectiveness of our food safety and quality system.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assuring the food safety and quality status of the site through inspection and audit
- Monitoring and reporting on plant compliance with relevant regulations, food safety, quality, and customer standards
- Implementing, maintaining, and improving the effectiveness of the food safety and quality system
- Ensuring the sites' NIR and FTIR instruments are calibrated and maintained
- Supporting site sample registration and testing/sampling regimes
- Completing detailed and data-driven risk analysis
We are looking for candidates with strong backgrounds in quality and food safety, ideally within a similar food manufacturing background. Experience with NIR and FTIR instruments will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of food safety principles and quality control methods and processes
- Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
