**Double Bass Music Tutor Position Available**

Brisbane Boys' College is a leading educational institution dedicated to developing young leaders and citizens. We are seeking an experienced Double Bass Music Tutor to join our team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching and assessing students in the Junior School Classroom Instrumental Music Program. They will also be expected to prepare students for examinations provided by organizations such as the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) and Trinity College London.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent teaching and pedagogical skills, as well as a strong knowledge of contemporary teaching methods. You will also need to be able to inspire and motivate students of all levels and standards.

The position involves working closely with the Head of Performance Music to further develop String teaching at the college. You will also be required to assist in supervising and attending concerts that involve String players held at the college.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

  • Tertiary Music Qualification
  • Adhere to the PMSA Code of Conduct
  • Comply with college policies, procedures, and training requirements
  • Possess a current Blue Card or be eligible to obtain one
