Inclusion Support Educator Opportunity

This role involves collaborating with early childhood education services to ensure equitable access to quality education and care for all children, including those with additional needs.

The Inclusion Support Educator will work closely with educators, families, and specialists to implement individualised support plans and provide guidance on inclusive practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with educators and families to develop and implement support plans for children with additional needs.
  • Providing expert advice and training on inclusive practices to ensure a positive learning environment for all children.
  • Sourcing and utilising specialist equipment and resources to facilitate inclusion, in line with program guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting children with additional needs.
  • An ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
  • Current First Aid training and CPR Certificate.
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
About the Role

This is a fixed-term part-time contract working Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day. The opportunity to extend the contract may be available depending on funding.
