About us

Neutral Bay OOSH is a not-for-profit provider of Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care. We operate out of Neutral Bay Public School.

About the role

We have a great opportunity for a passionate and highly motivated Child Care Educator,to join our team and engage with children in activities.

The role requires Educators to engage with children aged 5-12 years old, and ensure children are supervised and cared for at all times.

The successful applicant will strive to nurture and develop children's life skills, which compliments children's experiences, opportunities and relationships; in schools, at home and in the community.

  • Before School Care, After School Care, Vacation Care hours available
  • Casual & Permanent Part time roles available
  • Monday-Friday

Key responsibilities

  • Adhere to the services policies and procedures;
  • Building relationships with children, their families and school staff;
  • Implementation of the service program based on the children's interest;
  • Evaluate and reflect on activities; and,
  • Educational program and practice: the aim of this is to ensure that the educational program practice is engaging and stimulating and enhances children's learning and development.

Preferred

  • Diploma or Cert III in Children Services
  • Availability to work Monday - Friday, both in Before School Care & After School Care
  • Knowledge of National Quality Framework - My Time, Our Place

Required

  • Cleared Working With Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with children
