The role of Assistant Centre Manager is a pivotal position within our organisation, supporting the leadership and management of our team. We are seeking an experienced educator to join us, passionate about delivering high-quality programs and activities for children aged 0–5 years.
About Our TeamOur team offers a range of indoor and outdoor play spaces, as well as age-appropriate resources. We aim to provide a positive and engaging environment for children and families, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
Key Responsibilities- Support the Centre Manager in leading and supervising the team, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
- Maintain an outstanding learning environment, implementing developmentally appropriate programs and activities.
- Collaborate with staff to promote children's learning and wellbeing, engaging with families to support their needs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including child protection and safety standards.
- Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent, approved by ACECQA.
- Understanding of EYLF and NQS, with experience in implementing these frameworks.
- Proven educator experience in an early childhood service, working with children aged 0–5 years.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate.
