Propulsion Systems Engineering Leader

The Propulsion Systems Engineering Leader will oversee the development and delivery of qualified propulsion systems for launch vehicles.

This role involves leading a team to design, test, and analyse propulsion systems. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of experience in relevant professional engineering settings, including 5+ years in a managerial capacity.

Key qualifications include exceptional technical knowledge of propulsion system design and analysis, as well as considerable experience in Systems Engineering. The ideal candidate will also possess strong financial, schedule, and task management skills, along with RPEQ (or ability to obtain) with aerospace and/or mechanical areas of engineering.

The Propulsion Systems Engineering Leader will be responsible for managing department finances to ensure allocated budgets are adhered to. They will also identify and implement training/mentorship opportunities for their team and allocate tasks effectively.

Other key responsibilities include communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, participating in continuous learning initiatives, and embracing change within the organisation.
