Propulsion Engineering Leader

Job Description:

  • Provide technical direction and oversight to ensure alignment with program milestones, safety requirements, and system-level objectives.
  • Lead propulsion system architecture trade studies, system integration activities, and design reviews.
  • Develop and manage a multidisciplinary propulsion engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Represent the propulsion function in internal and external technical forums and meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a professional engineering setting.
  • Highly developed CAD skills, preferably in SolidWorks or other similar software.
  • Knowledge of ECSS, Mil, and NASA standards.
  • NV1 Security Clearance eligibility preferred.
