**Job Overview**

We are seeking a seasoned Electronics Engineer to contribute to the success of our electrical team by effectively communicating with colleagues and ensuring duties are performed efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Electronic/Electrical Assembly and Testing
  • Electrical Circuit Fault Finding and Diagnosis
  • Assembly of cables, hand soldering or assembling prototype products based on schematic diagrams; accurately marking changes when instructions vary
  • Conducting and recording product tests and diagnostic activities to support the production process
  • Mechanical enclosure/component assembly Ensuring all parts meet quality standards
  • Building small control panels for basic machine automation
  • Installing field wiring and termination of motors, sensors, and smart devices
  • Operating power tools
  • Manual handling

**Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-reliability manufacturing operating environment, ideally within the electronics/aerospace industry
  • Extensive knowledge of mechatronic, battery, avionic or electrical systems

**Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of temperature, pressure, and flow measurement devices, mechanical and electrical systems, and propulsion systems
  • Skill in operating and manipulating machinery with great manual dexterity
  • Experience with forklifts, cranes, and heavy equipment
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with Engineering and Production

**Licenses:**

  • Current Australian Driver's License (ability to drive a manual preferred)
  • Forklift License (company may provide training)

**Teamwork/Leadership/Interpersonal:**

  • Teamwork, motivational and/or negotiating skill
  • Anticipates and responds to the needs of others
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution skills

**Requirements Summary:** To succeed in this role, you will require strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Your ability to multitask, work under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities will be essential. You must also possess a valid driver's license and a forklift license. A Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in a high-reliability manufacturing environment are also required.
