Job Overview

This role is pivotal in enhancing the organization's capacity to maintain critical business services through the implementation of resilience strategies, frameworks, and capabilities across various platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of post-trade equities infrastructure, encompassing trade, clearing, settlement, and subregister functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strengthen the organization's resilience posture by contributing to the resilience strategy and execution.
  • Map critical business services, assess their criticality, tolerance levels, identify internal processes, systems, data, and external dependencies, supporting Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and risk management.
  • Define and assess potential failure scenarios using structured methodologies, contributing to the design and testing of recovery and continuity plans.
  • Design and coordinate external market testing exercises across the ecosystem, including customers, third-party providers, and internal systems.
  • Design and implement the organization's resilience architecture, including objectives, key results, metrics, ownership, and dashboards to support governance and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Business domain expertise: understanding of post-trade equities infrastructure, including trade, clearing, settlement, and subregister functions.
  • Business Architecture & Process Mapping: ability to map critical business services to processes, systems, and dependencies.
  • Scenario Planning & Risk Assessment: proficiency in structured methodologies to assess failure modes, risk management, and playbooks.
  • Business Continuity & Recovery Planning: knowledge of BCP, BIA, DRs, Communication Plans, and Firedrills principles and practices.
  • Operating Model & Governance: experience in designing and implementing operating models with clear accountabilities, metrics, and governance structures.
  • Dashboard & Reporting: skills in designing and implementing dashboards and reporting tools to support governance and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: strong communication skills to collaborate across business, operations, and technology teams.
