Cyber Security Role

As a cyber security specialist, you will be responsible for securing and monitoring technology environments during mergers and acquisitions. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and remediate security gaps in alignment with organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough security due diligence on acquired systems, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
  • Identify potential security risks and implement mitigating measures.
  • Support secure migration of data, applications, and workloads into the target environment.
  • Monitor alerts from SIEM platforms, endpoint detection tools, and cloud security services.
  • Investigate incidents and coordinate responses with IT teams.
  • Document incidents and remediation actions for governance reporting.
  • Transition acquired company security tooling to standard platforms.
  • Configure and optimise security solutions for legacy and integrated environments.
  • Secure multi-cloud environments (Microsoft Azure/M365, AWS, Google Cloud).
