Quarry Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to operate heavy mobile equipment and fixed plant in a quarry environment. This role requires the ability to conduct inspections, identify issues, and report faults.
About the JobThe Quarry Operator will be responsible for ensuring safe site operations by operating HME and fixed plant, conducting inspections, and reporting faults. The ideal candidate will have experience in quarrying or similar environments, but this is not essential.
- Operate heavy mobile equipment (HME) and fixed plant to ensure safe site operations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and report any faults.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and prioritize employee safety.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent mechanical aptitude and be able to work effectively with HME operators, dump trucks, water carts, crushing, and blending plants.
- Assist with maintenance and basic repair tasks.
- Develop an understanding of quarry products and QA processes.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve operational goals.
